Terms of use
Draft: short terms to be checked by the owner and a lawyer before launch. Items in [square brackets] are not filled in yet.
These are the house rules for Poodle Party. By playing you agree to them.
Playing
Poodle Party is free to play. Every game is free; ads and optional purchases (Party Pass, No Ads for Me) pay for it. You need a TV or screen with a browser, or the app, plus a phone for every player.
Be kind
Pick a nickname you'd say out loud to Oma. Don't write or draw anything hateful, threatening, sexual (outside a confirmed 18+ room) or illegal. The room's VIP can remove a player or hide content, and we may block anyone who abuses the service.
What you put in a room
What you type or draw is shown to the other people in that room and is deleted when the room closes (see the privacy policy). You are responsible for what you add.
18+ content
18+ packs are only available when "Kids are playing" is off and the VIP confirms that everyone in the room is 18 or older. That confirmation is the VIP's responsibility.
Purchases
Purchases go through the Apple App Store or Google Play and follow their terms and refund rules. Party Pass is a subscription that renews until you cancel it in your store account. No Ads for Me is a one-time purchase for your own phone.
No guarantees
We do our best to keep Poodle Party running, but it is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for interruptions, lost game progress or indirect damage. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. [Governing law and court to be confirmed, expected: the Netherlands.]
